The WFH president handed over the documentation for the beatification of Blessed Eusebius (�zs�b), the only male Hungarian founder of a religious order, that being of the Pauline Order.Not so long ago under tragic circumstances Fr. Vince �rva postulator of 17 volumes of documentation on Blessed Eusebius of Esztergom, passed away leaving behind 22 years of work. Fr. Vince �rva publically announced to the VII Hungarian World Congress on August 19th, 2008 that he would like to entrust the huge amount of documentation to the World Federation of Hungarians. With the Pope’s approval of the Pauline Order’s 700th anniversary December 13th, 2008 the president of the World Federation of Hungarians received the volume of documentation on the special occasion. The founder of the Hungarian Pauline Fathers, �zseb, whose name is probably derived from the first Pannonian martyr, Eusebius gained martyrdom under the rule of Valerianus (235-259). �zs�b/Eusebius requested permission from Cardinal Vancsay to form the Pauline Order due to his disappointment of the Andrew II and B�la IV’s leadership after the destruction caused by the Tatars. A vision of his work confirmed everything for him and the order’s main centre was established and built in 1250. The monastery was built in Szentkereszt (Holy Cross) and Eusebius became the first Father Rector. Eusebius, under Thomas Aquinas’ support requested permission to adopt the Rule of St. Augustine from Urban IV, which was not received and documented until 13th December 1308. The Pauline Fathers are the only Hungarian order of monks founded in Hungary itself. After the death of Eusebius the Hungarian Paulines spread rapidly, and the generosity of King Matthias, who was the most famous Renaissance ruler of the time and possessor of the Holy Crown, supported the order. The order also obtained Feh�regyh�z, where �rpad the Magyar Chief, who settled Hungary is buried, thus enabling the order to guard �rpad’s tomb. At this particular monastery, M�ty�s Bakk became the first provost, who also has relatives living in Szek�lyland to the present day. In that time there were up to 69 monasteries, although later the number reached 170 in the Hungarian region. On 15th January 1467 the day when the king defeated Ali Begh St. Paul the Hermit was made a Hungarian patron saint by the king. The name giver to the order, St. Paul the Hermit became defender and protector of the king both internally and the whole region. Not only were scholars invited to the country by the king, but also church leaders, which explains how Rodrigo Borgia Archbishop of Eger and Abbot of P�terv�r�d became prelate of Hungary. Incidentally, he also became Pope Alexander VI, and during his time Queen Isabella of Spain, relative of the House of �rp�d Kings requested the Paulines to travel to the New World with Columbus. On October 12th 1492, Columbus landed in America, and according to Alexander IV, we can clearly see that the Hungarian Pauline Order were the first spreaders of the faith, and were also the first bridge builders between Europe and America. Pauline monasteries could also be found in many European countries such as Austria, Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Poland and many others besides. The Pauline Fathers from all their monasteries had to meet at a convention, which took place near Buda at a place called Szentl�rinc (now Buda Szentl�rinc). The provost, the superior of and two delegates all the monasteries in each diocese arrived at the meeting every fourth, or rather every eighth year at the main monastery in Hungary. The Ottoman invasion of Hungary was fatal for the Pauline order later on, as the powerful independent base of the order was lost. The meeting of the order was moved to the monastery at M�riav�lgy due to the destruction of the main Szentlorinc monastery by the Ottomans. The country split into three and in the eastern region a new king was chosen, John I, who had previously been the voivod (leader) of the same place. In the western region the younger brother of Charles V was crowned, and became King Ferdinand. King John, who was struggling with many difficulties, requested the help of provost Brother Gy�rgy, who was made voivod of Transylvania, and who at that time was also cardinal and bishop of V�r�d, as well as being treasurer and the most well known politician. He negotiated with Bishop Wese, who was the representative of Charles V and Wese tried to convince him to hand over the eastern region. Brother Gy�rgy, (Bishop of Nagyv�rad, Voivod of Transylvania, Cardinal and Archbishop of Esztergom) in virtue of his responsible position was unable to bring about a decision which would have been against the nation’s interests. Neither corruption or bribery, nor treason could change his mind. Gy�rgy’s ambition to reunite the country did not come true, due to the historical situation of the region. Only Transylvania’s independence could guarantee the avoidance of the Ottoman invasion. After the unsuccessful negotiation, Charles V and King Ferdinand, members of the Habsburg family murdered Brother Gy�rgy Alvincen Martinuzzi on the night of December 16th, 1551. The news of the murdered Archbishop of Esztergom shocked Europe. Along with the murder came the looting of Transylvania’s treasures. With the invasion of the Ottomans, the Paulines moved to Poland. And due to the increasing strength of the Polish Paulines a split from the Hungarian order took place in 1784. The Polish king Stanislaw August Poniatowski had caused the break away process by his claims. That is why the diocese of the order separated from Hungary, as well as the Father Rector in 1784. The beginning of Pope Pius VI’s breviary “Apostolicae Sedis auctoritas” stated that the Polish diocese of the order is separated from the main Hungarian one. Franz Joseph II dissolved all religious orders, including the Paulines in 1786. Although, the dissolution act of 1786 was withdrawn in 1790 it did not include the Paulines. The order tried to re-establish itself in 1864, 1902, 1918 and in 1934. Then in 1989 through Fr. Vince �rva of Pilissz�nt� the order was re-established, and the beatification process of Blessed Eusebius was pushed forward. Not only this, but he also hopes that the Polish order’s rule of the ancient order will cease and a new Hungarian leadership and centre will be established. On February 8th, 2008 Fr. Vince �rva sent a letter to Pope Benedict XVI giving an account the work involved in the beatification process of Blessed Eusebius, and the other necessary documentation required in the process.

They obey gospel if we preach and teach the truth in love and constantly. We are diligently preaching and rightly dividing the word of truth in season and unseasoned. We exhort people to hear meditate and obey the God's word for the salvation and edification. LOCATION, pedapulivarru: The pedapulivarru is a small village, population about 6,000 people. This village is located on the seacoast of Bay of Bengal. CHILDREN'S HOME: "This is the pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father, to visit orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world". James 1:27 First our local church adopted some fatherless children after this big cyclone, they stayed in our houses. Then we plan to start a children's home to give them better facilities. We named this home "Sarah orphanage" because these Godly ones explained Apollo�s (an eloquent man and mighty in the scriptures). The way of God more accurately. Acts 18:26. And they risked their own necks for Apostle Paul's life (Romans 16:4). We have brought more children from platform, roadsides and slums. These children are actually parentless and they are in great-depressed condition. When we have seen them we showed pity and sympathy towards them. We determined to save them from their depressed and ruin condition. We have provided good home and pleasant atmosphere for these children. We supply very decent and delicious food for the children. We joined them in the secular school. Now they are going to schools very regularly and inherited very good Christian culture. We have two teachers, two cooks and one warden and one maiden servant woman for this orphanage. We treat our orphanage children as our own children. We eat with them, we sleep with them and we live with them. We arranged a professional doctor for these children. Doctor visits our orphanage home weekly once and at emergencies and takes care about children health. OUR GOAL: 1. To train up children in the instruction an d admonition of the Lord. 2. To provide them food, shelter, clothing and education. 3. Establish faith, self-confidence and zeal for God in their hearts by teaching the God's word. 4. Prepare children as good citizens of the God's kingdom. And we want to make them good citizens and profitable ones in the society. We attain this by teaching the mighty God's word. We are supported by donations from our people in the community. The unfortunate things are our people suffered from poverty. Seventy percent people above are living under poverty line. But some Indian brethren belongs to this area work in other towns share their love, encourage to work here and help us in the benevolent work. Due to hiked prices of all essentials and financial problems some of them unable to send their contributions on regular basis. We hope you brethren are always in front line to strength and encourage the good work for the God's glory. We believe also that you are very kind and generous for the orphans. Billy� Testimony I will never forget the time of the Cornish Revival which happened in 1986, it lasted for about 4 years. The churches in Redruth were filled, and many hundreds of people came to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. This is the year that I got saved, for I was seeking the Lord after loosing my father and sister. I was praying to God asking Him, what was the purpose of life. I did not attend any church, but I believed in Jesus and God, but my life in no way reflected it. I began to read the Bible in those early years, but I could not find peace. One day I was driving past Redruth Baptist Church, when I noticed cars parked outside the church and all the way up Station Hill. So many people were going to the church which I found very strange. I said to my wife, �I am going to find out why they are going in there.� So one Sunday night I parked my car and prayed to God and said, � Lord, the only church that I have ever been to is Lanner Methodist Sunday school, and I didn�t like that, but this Baptist church troubles me, but it is your church as well so I will go and see what they are doing .� When I went in, there was no room, so I had to stand at the back. I had never seen so many people singing and praising God in this way before, the music and singing was so good, and the people�s faces were smiling, they were so happy and friendly. So, I went home and I couldn�t wait to tell Diane what I had experienced that night. We went back many nights together, it was so good. Then one night Colin Salter the Pastor preached, �Do you know Jesus, have you repented for all the bad things that you have done, and asked Christ into your heart to save you?� Well, I always thought that He was my Saviour, I always believed in Him, but like I said before my life certainly did not reflect Christianity in any way. You see, every other word that I spoke at that time was a swear word, and my childhood was spent in countless fights, and in my early twenties I borrowed over an hundred thousand pounds from a bank to build a bungalow estate in Fourlanes, the equivalent to a million pounds in today�s money, some of the practices in dealing with banks managers and solicitors were very devious to say the least. The building trade was a very bad influence on my life, It left me broke and hopeless, I needed Jesus to save my soul. So, that night after church I went out into the fields to pray, I said, �Lord Jesus I am sorry for all the bad things that I have done, come into my life take control, I give my life to you.� Over the next two weeks I was very troubled, I was sending our children to Lanner Methodist Sunday school for their Sunday school lessons, but Diane and I were going to the Baptist Church.
